Let's face it. We all know the economy has affected the building market in
a drastic way. We are all hesitant on starting any renovations or making
that commitment for a new home or accents to it. Timing is everything. So
I say take these few pictures and put them in your scrapbook and when the
time is right let European Rustic bring these ideas to life.

These are my favorite progression shots from a previous Timber supply and
Install Project. Some of our followers have probably seen these before.
But to me they are inspiring. For the Client that would like to claim a

What a great addition to this basement. A reclaimed wood Mantle. These timbers were salvaged from an old mill in the Carolinas. We distressed the wood with chains for a little added character and mixed with the saw marks from original cut, I think this Mantle will see many warm and cozy nights. Timbers are roughly 80 to 100 years old.

Team ER is proud to announce its most recent success with the DCI Home
Resource in downtown Charlotte NC. DCI is the premiere high end supplier of
home furnishings for Builders and Architects. From Custom Cabinetry, Luxury
Plumbing Fixtures, Viking and Wolfe style appliances and more. We just
completed and delivered this Custom Kitchen Island to their show room. It
was all hand crafted right here in the Carolinas by one of our expert
craftsman. The material base is Reclaimed long leaf heart pine pulled from
one of the local cotton mills being demolished local to us. The wood top is
Heart Pine as well. As usual we finish with excellence and what a beautiful
piece of furniture.

Success and Excellence. Team ER has brought to the table another
successful project. We had a blast with this one, you should have been
there when we wheeled this 7ft long 3ft wide tub through the home.
Challenging but rewarding. As you can see the finished product. This is an
Egyptian Marble stone with a matching curb and tile backsplash accent.

Aged Lions Face

One our favorite mantle fireplaces we've done yet. This Lions face
shows the detail of slow aged patina. Fresh cut stone from the earth
with the elure of historic old age. The worn face mixed with the
drown and greys. This shows how effective the acid etching can

Chimney Pots that tell a story

The home we are now finishing up has finally allowed us to take a few
finished shots. I love the story line the pots tell. The accent the
pots add to your home are worth a million. Not long ago in England
thousands of miles away. The pots stood as old as 120 years. And now
there here in the states with the same majestic feel but with one more
story of there journey...Team ER

White Marble acid etched stone mantle

Here is a great example of White Marble Stone with an acid etched
finish. The purpose is to create an aged finish with a more natural
patina. The finish product speeks for itself.....Team ER

Old Growth Timbers

Its a shame you know..... you just cant find these moster old growth
Timbers anymore. Back in the day we did'nt have loaders to just come
in and push over these trees. They needed a team of men to come in
and hand cut the trees. And then set up the saw mill right onsite and
get to work. The stories the trees will tell you. Just look at these
pictures. Preserved from the site of the Old Jim Beam Distillery 150
years later we just boom these babys right into place and what an
impact it makes.
Not to mention the green factor.--ask about our flyer on green timbers...

English Chimney Pots

The ER Team waiting for there fresh stock of inventory of Chimney Pots
from England. Hopeing to see a few Easter Island Pots. Those are my
favorites. The best thing of all is the age and the storys these pots
could tell. 140 to 160 years old and still as sound as the day they
were first put up. Many a winter fires we've seen.......

Hand carved Tub and Er Mascott

Right now product is on its way Via- Container transport by Ocean
going Vessel. We have a newly hand carved Tub made from Egyptian
marble stone with the rope braids and lions faces. You have got to
love the lions face- just awesome....Also our ER Mascott, we call him
The Rightous Warrior. He is chiselled from black jade stone. Just a
few more peices to brag about. I love this job!!

McConnels Gin Mill

This could be our next mission. This oldCooten Mill dated back to the
1800's is rich with beams and timbers and floor boards as well as hand
made brick. All ready to reclaim for the next project. Lets see what
fate awaits this reclic. --ER

Dead Standing Trees

On occasion We send in the tree specialist to cut down these dead
standing trees. Why cut down a new growth tree when you can clear
these beautys out. But i must say they look a lot better when we turn
them into mantle peices above your fireplace. You should checkout our
sand blast finishes.....

Our customer wanted and old beat up rustic looking butcher block top.
So we tore up some reclaimed Heart Pine flooring from an old Cotten
Mill and sanded the face with a smooth but wavy honed out look. Added
a dark wipeing stain and final coats of bee's wax. What a beautiful
attraction to the kitchen.

Reclaimed terricotta tiles

Just a few more finishing toughes. We have started our final coats of
sealer and finish wax on these reclaimed floor tiles imported from
Germany. Look at those floors shine. Looks like a worn peice of
leather.

Custom Iron Works

Long awaited we have finally started our install on the custom iron
works at the waxhaw estate. Details show gothic midevil pickets and
balconys with the roman cross inlay. what a great accent for this
Tuscan Castle.

Stone Water Fountain

Would'nt be nice to have your own wishing well. Lucky for our
customer we were able to find this one in Spain. This water fountain
is made from a white marble stone with an acid wash finish giving it
that Old Rustic charm. I also dropped the first penny to the well
and made a wish..... We'll see what happens

Cantara Limestone Colomn

Brought to you straight from the heart of Mexico, European Rustic has
supplied our customer with a beautiful pair of Cantara Limestone
Colomns. These colomns are finshed in a Tuscan Style. In this
application the colomns are cosmetic by design, but can be used for
structural purpose as well.

SantaFe Clay Roof Tiles

The ER Team delivers yet another outstanding shipment of SantaFe Clay
Roof Tiles. Today our trucks pulled up to a home under construction
in York, South Carolina. We delivered 139 sq of SantaFe Tiles
consisting of a mixed lot of St. Augustine Blend Spanish type "S"
--Peach Fume, Red Fume, and Coffee Fume. One more job delivered on
time with no complications! Stay tuned more to come.....

140 year old Imported English Chimney Pots. These Pots have been
reclaimed from small cottages in the surrounding England Areas.

GOT RUSTIC? Check out these Custom Made iron balconies. The ER Team
put together this pattern complimenting the home it secures to. A mix
of Gothic Cross and Roman Cross details. Let these balconies rust in
the weather for a month and wire brush them down and spray with a
sealer. You have the makings for a 100 yr old look and feel. Just
what the Customer ordered.

Our customer has a very unique taste in powder room vanitys. These
are Horse Head and Sheep Head White marble with an acid wash and
wire-brushed finish, Imported from Spain. The center hole faucet
will be fitted with a crown head sigot hand made in Phenix Arizona.

These Tiles date back to 175 years ago. These Terracotta Tiles we
taken from an Old Farm Villa located in Germany. Made in the
backyards of the homes and then placed on the rafters to create the
roof. Years later torn down and now we are installing them as
flooring on our most resent project. Quite the Primitive look- if
your into the true old world and Rustic detail.

European Rustic is proud to announce the installation of a white marble
stone mantle. This Marble Stone has an acid wash and sand blasted Finish,
Making this grey color unique to the home it rests in. It towers a total of
17 feet from the floor. Just think this stone was buried in a mountain side
just 3 months ago in a small European country side. I think this fireplace
mantle will enjoy many a fire....Send us your comments, hope you enjoy.
